Description
The 17 ha park is one of the most beautiful examples of urban parks open to the public in Bordeaux and its surroundings.
Beyond European species there are beautiful large American and Asian trees, usually only seen in botanic gardens. Some species, like the Laurel leafed Oak are very rare. You can thus also admire the Sequoiadendron Giganteum, the Purple Beech, the Himalayan Cedar, the Evergreen Sequoia, the Bald Cypress, the Big leafed Magnolia, the Yew...
The castle and the park are filed as Historic Monuments.
