The Gardens Of Breteuil Castle

Breteuil illustrates five centuries of french gardens, from the reign of Louis XVIth to the creation of the " Prince's Garden" in our time. All of colours and scents, this garden opens on a pergola covered in ancient roses followed by an espalier fruit alley.
A mall of Japanese Cherries and a collection of bush peonies are among the tresors of this garden.
There are also the Millenary Maze consisting of thousand box trees and the " French Gardens " created by H. and A. Duchêne.
"Jardins du Château de Breteuil" have obtained the special label of "Remarquable Garden" awarded by the French ministry of Culture.

• Opening 2013 :
  Every day all the year.
  The park opens at 10 a.m. for individual visitors, the castle at 2.30 p.m.
  Additional visit with 11h30 Sundays and public holidays and every day of school holidays of the Paris area.
  The groups must take appointment and can visit the castle as of the morning.
• Visits :
  Guided visits.
  Access partially adapted for disabled persons.
  
• Charges :
  Gardens and "Contes de Perrault" (scenes located in the dependences of the castle): 9,50 €
  Reduced ticket and children : 8,00 € (free less than 6 years)
  Castle, gardens and "contes de Perrault" : 14,00 € or 11,00€ (children).
  Special rates for school groups.
