Crusade Garden of Busséol ' Castle : The garden of the Crusades is the oldest known continuously worked garden in France. It is perched 700 metres above sea level within the remparts of the twelfth century chateau, wich in turnis perched on top of a volcanic plug. The views from the garden are panoramic to say the least across the volcanic park into the Massif Central. The owner has not only tried to recreate the original plantings of medicinals and culinary herbs used during the Middle-Ages, but by planting more tender specimens in pots has created has delighful small garden full of colour and interesting foliage.

From 15/06 to 15/09, every day: 10 am to noon and 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm.
Opened the weekend and public holidays (only afternoon) : 2.00 pm to 5.30 pm.
Groups on go. Visit commented by certified guide.

Adult: 8,00 euros. Children (- 12 years): 4,00 euros. Children ( - 12 years): 5,00 euros.
Free for children under 4 years.
Groups (at least 15 people): 6,00 euros/adult and 3,50 euros/children.
