La Cité des Insectes Garden.
Right in the middle of the Regional Natural Park of Millevaches, near Vassivière lake, the Garden and the Museum of the Insect City welcome you for a different kind of experience!
In our garden with its vegetable patch, aromatic and medicinal herbs, its flowers and forest garden complete with a pond, and a natural garden, a natural way of gardening can be studied. Here the insects are our partners. The plants and trees are carefully chosen and we encourage a healthy biodiversity between fauna and flora.
Since insects are necessary for humanity's survival on this planet, in our gardens and museum their role in the different ecosystems can be studied.
On the same site, there is a 400 m2 interactive museum, picnic area, snack bar, guest rooms and shop.

Every day, during school holidays, bridges in the 3 zones and for groups (minimum 15 people) book in advance.

You have guided tours every day at 3 p.m. during school holidays and outside school holidays, Sunday at 3 p.m. if more than 15 people.

Nature events & artist or naturalist exhibition each year & artist and naturalist residencies.
Paper guide at the entrance and treasure hunt for children in French, English & Dutch.
And it's also an on-site snack bar, shop.
