Park And Gardens Of Fontaine La Soret Castle : Designed on the grounds of the castle which was built around 1765, the Park du Château de Fontaine-la-Soret is an outstanding example of the art of gardening from the 18th to the 20th century.
From the 18th century the garden boasts an exceptionnal cedar of Lebanon (planted around 1770), as well as the circles and alleys leading to the château.
In the 19th century, the landscape artist Victor Crombez created a pond with waterfalls near an old cottage situated in the lower part of the park.
In the 20th century, the landscape designer Russel Page redesigned the park around the château with gentle slopes, yew hedges, some partly enclosed ,water basins and flowers beds. Finally, in 1986, Louis Benech redid the garden which had become neglected over the years.
