Sausset Park : ”Countryside and City”. This park is situated at the North-East of the department, at Aulney-sous-Bois and Villepinte. By its conception, it is at the same time an urban and a landscape park, with a strong predomination of trees (107000 trees on 16 ha). The landscape park offers a great variety of ambiances: modern landscape park, forest and swamp. Vegetation has been allowed to grow progressively; a spontaneous flora and fauna are now abundant and various: there are birds, amphibians, wild orchids and flowered meadows. The park now offers to the inhabitants of Seine Saint Denis a natural and varying environment, free from the cities' nuisances, and intimate spaces for relaxation and leisure.
”La Maison du Sausset” provides for all kinds of public exhibitions and animations around topics like nature, savours, nutrition.
