The Baudouvin Garden, in the shadow of the venerable bastide situated in La-Valette-du-Var (83), has been reorganized by a landscape architecture office, by order of the town council.
Esplanades and flower beds are being highlighted and show a beautiful testimony of the 18th century gardens in Provence.
On the terraces, large orchards have been added, and, along the majestic plane avenue, the teso has found its original alignment, box bushes are sitting in front of the esplanade and the symmetrical garden, without forgetting the experimental garden, a realm of creation that draws inspiration from the living cultures as well as from the world of the plastic arts.
The cultures are being worked with low-energy technologies (sun-powered electricity, water recycling...). The kitchen garden beds are based on modernised ancient methods...
